APPLICATION FOR LABRADOR RETRIEVER PUPPY 
Please include your email address as that is how I will be responding to you. Also if you already have one of my pups this application is not necessary. Just email me or phone me to let me know if you are looking for another Chestnut Pup to add to your family.

1. What do you like about Labrador Retrievers that make you want one?

2. Which sex do you prefer and why?

Do you have a color preference and a second choice?

3. Have you owned pets in the past?

4. Who is living in the house where the puppy will be raised?

11. Are you planning on taking your puppy to school after his shots are complete? I do my own training and most people that get my labs do not start school until the pups are 4-6 months old and only if they are having an issue that we can not resolve ie: pulling too hard on the leash when walking is usually the number one issue and that can be resolved by starting leash training from day one and never let them pull you. Never use a long leash, 4 foot - 6 foot is plenty with knots tied in this leather leash. A soft semi choker collar is what I recommend, nothing that can damage their necks.

12. Will you be able to live with hair on your furniture, stains on your rugs, a warm body on your furniture and an animal that might be destructive at times unless you train him properly and use a CRATE?

13. Pets are an investment of time and money. Can you afford to provide medical care grooming, proper diet, proper shelter, and exercise for your new pet?

14. Are you able to make a long term commitment to care for your pet for its entire lifespan which could be 12-16 years?

15. Under what circumstances would you not be able to keep the dog?

16. If unable to keep your labrador would you agree to return him to us or keep us informed as to whom you are placing him with? I will take your pup back at anytime so never just abandon him or hesitate to call if you are having any problems. I do not recommend that they are spayed/neutered until they are done growing, 14 months old is a good age and most of the males should not be neutered.

17. Please let us know any other information you wish us to consider in placing one of our Labrador Retrievers with you.

LABRADOR RETRIEVER PUPPY INFO

Our Labs live in the house as it is their home as well as ours. Our pups are born in the "dining/computer/puppy" room. They spend all their time with me and get the proper human bonding that is so important to a labrador. When they leave me they will need the same amount of love and attention, hopefully more, than they get when they are here. If you do not have the time for a puppy please consider adopting an adult as they need homes too!
